Please notice: We are not a typical commercial (family) campsite and don’t do one-night stands!
Minimum stay = 2 nights. We welcome you at our estate as friends and aim for a cozy respectful atmosphere with ample opportunities for contact with your fellow travelers. Our rural estate offers the -ever scarser- nature, silence and tranquility. You’ll be a guest of Mother Earth in the beautiful and unspoiled Alto Alentejo.
We want to provide a welcoming, safe and friendly environment for those who don’t feel at home at the majority of busy family campsites. Therefore we have (young) adult only camping spots with a minimum age of 12.
Welcome to our rural and natural Estate in Beira Marvao - Alto Alentejo
Welcome
Come and relax in our amazingly beautiful, peaceful and friendly scenery. You are welcome to stay on our small scale rural estate (olive grove) in the middle of the beautiful Parque Natural da Serra de Sao Mamede. We offer a limited 20 bookable spots (tents, caravans, campervans, motorhomes) in a landscape park environment. Watch the video to get a good impression. The location is an ideal base to go hiking, biking, start unwinding and explore the still unspoiled region! Choose your own spot on arrival and sleep under the amazing starlit sky, with just the sound of crickets, birds and sometimes the meditating bells of neighbouring cattle.
We offer a salt water pool (in summer), toilets, rain showers, washing facilities, a toilet dump and free high speed WIFI around the kiosk.
At kiosk and terrace Amsterdao you can meet your fellow travelers and enjoy our Brasilian-Dutch hospitality. Treat yourself to a local wine, cold beer and a snack (taste our own olive oil and local honey!) while enjoying the fairytale scenery. We speak English, Portugese, Dutch and German.

Visit Marvao, Castelo de Vide, Beira, Portagem and Santo Antonio das Areias
Within 9 km of our estate you’ll find several towns, villages and hamlets, including the two castle villages of Marvao, Castelo de Vide and the wonderful old railway station in the village of Beira. Visit Portagem with it’s Roman bridge and free swimming pool in the river Sever and Santo Antonio das Arreias.

Hiking and Biking
Parque Natural da Serra de Sao Mamede is an ideal environment for a nice walk or bicycle ride through the astonishing landscape.
