Come and relax in our amazingly beautiful, peaceful and friendly scenery. You are welcome to stay on our small scale rural estate (olive grove) in the middle of the beautiful nature park Serra de Sao Mamede in the Alto Alentejo.
We offer a limited 20 spots for tents, caravans and campervans in a kid-free landscape park environment. Choose your own spot on arrival and sleep under the amazing starlit sky. Sun, Silence and the Stars. Enjoy the view of the (nightly lit) casttle of Marvao high up on the rocks. Find your space to really unwind from hectic daily life. See, smell and hear, stop thinking! And then (optional) … drink, sing, laugh, share and sync among (international) friends in a fairytale scenery at terras AmsterdaoOur estate is a perfect starting point for low traffic hiking and biking in all its forms. Explore the many unspoiled (ancient) treasures and the very slow and relaxed but burgundy lifestyle of our region (or neighbouring Spain).
Included are the use of the salt water pool (opening April), toilets and rain showers, facilities for washing up, a toilet dump and free high blazing speed WIFI at kiosk and terrace Amsterdao. Here you can meet your fellow travelers and enjoy our Brasilian-Dutch hospitality. Treat yourself to a local talha wine, a cold (local) beer, a snack or a joint meal (upon request and availability). Taste our own olive oil and local honey, while enjoying the fairytale scenery.
We speak English, Portugese, Dutch and German. Depending on your approach, we’ll try in Spanish and French.

Within 9 km of our estate you’ll find several towns, villages and hamlets, including the two castle villages of Marvao, Castelo de Vide and the wonderful old railway station in the village of Beira. Visit Portagem with it’s Roman bridge and free swimming pool in the river Sever.

Parque Natural da Serra de Sao Mamede is an ideal environment for a nice walk or bicycle ride through the astonishing landscape.
